it's my birthday party and i have favors to share

well, i already got my birthday present.
it's time to give away the birthday party favors!

i found these perfect little sewer's sweets at the store this week. i made a couple because what's a birthday party without treats? (and, yeah, i also whipped up some chain pieced hst bunting to add to the festive spirit.)

i sure would like to be able to give a party favor to each of you instead of just eye candy, but the u.s. post office isn't sponsoring me. i am, however, going to send some surprise birthday treats to a few guests and well-wishers who visited for the meet juki giveaway.

first up, the quilt top kit goes to deborah:

Happy Birthday and a big congratulations on your new machine - love your big smile :-) Thanks for a wonderful giveaway.

and what is a birthday without surprises? i have fat quarter lollies for these ladies, allison and judy:

congrats on the new Juki! I found you through Crazy mom Quilts and have been having fun reading through your blog :) those are some lovely fabrics in the kit, thanks for the giveaway!

Happy Birthday and enjoy your professional machine. You deserve it!

i'll need mailing addresses from each of you, please. i should be able to mail them by tuesday (my errand day) if you send your info to my email by then.

instead of spending $5 a pop for the lollies, i got a few supplies and made my own. i'll be posting a tutorial on how to make the fat quarter lollies next week if you are interested.

and since i'm not quite done celebrating, how about another giveaway? look for it on the lollipop tutorial next week.

thanks, everyone, for helping me celebrate and for all the love.
hugs! and God bless, hydeeann

Those lollies are fantastic - one of those 'why didn't I think of that?' moments. Good idea for a tutorial!
