works in progress
most every quilter has a nice little stash of wips - work(s) in progress - laying around. i'm particularly prone to starting a new project before i finish another. i like variety and having options when i want to sit down and work, not only of project types but also phases of the process to work on. most of these are pretty old, as i'm not a fast quilter. it's normal for me to be working on a quilt over the course of several months, if not a few years.

class projects
sometimes i take a class to learn a new skill or technique. it's more about the class experience than actually finishing a project, although i do come out of the class with projects in mind and a few starter pieces complete. these are not high priority finishes for me at this time.

I'm so glad to hear that I'm not alone in racing through makeing a quilt! I like to have my unfinished quilts up on my design board & pick up where I feel like starting. My biggest problem is the final quilting of the whole thing on a small machine. Any suggestions are welcome! Lovely projects !
