I guess parenting is like a lot of things in life- it's only in retrospect that you can sometimes see a better way to do things. I think though that being reflective in anything you do, especially something as important as parenting, makes you better at it. From reading your blog, it is so clear to me that your family is important to you, and share many special times together, and I'm sure that they will cherish those times when they are grown.

:) Kelly @ My Quilt InfatuationKelly @ My Quilt Infatuationhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13383511246261347442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5702531234034114184.post-30185846042039857212014-10-10T18:41:55.627-07:002014-10-10T18:41:55.627-07:00Girl. I don't think we will ever be perfect at anything we do. The best we can offer is our best effort and our willingness to admit when we fall short. I think our children will appreciate our honesty in the long run.Janet @ Simply Piecedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07932316774768732089noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5702531234034114184.post-13193839527826721462014-10-10T06:13:08.354-07:002014-10-10T06:13:08.354-07:00It is a beautiful quilt Hydee, and beautiful words...It is a beautiful quilt Hydee, and beautiful words too. Times of reflection are good for us - I love how you are willing to admit where you haven't maybe made the right choices, and look to striving to keep improving - whether it be in parenting or quilting :-) I fail miserably as a mum a lot of the time, but I am quick to say I'm sorry and my kids are quick to forgive - its part of being a family xxDeborahGunhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14415220048612276494noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5702531234034114184.post-56170996225949635612014-10-09T22:50:13.562-07:002014-10-09T22:50:13.562-07:00Live in the moment and don't beat yourself up ...Live in the moment and don't beat yourself up about the things you didn't do.
